Rappahannock Baptist Church is in most respects a traditional country church. You will find folks dressed in everything from jeans and a nice shirt to suit and tie. We want you to feel comfortable. Speaking of comfort, during the service we will receive an offering from our regular attendees; please do not feel obligated to participate. Your visit is your offering.
A typical service will start out with a song to call us to worship. Then visitors are welcomed, announcements are shared, and congregational singing is led. Pastor Dave will lead the congregation into the study of God's Word. At the conclusion of the message an opportunity for response will be given as we sing our closing hymn. A typical service lasts about an hour.
There are special additions to the service though out the month. Each month the children present a special song. There is often special music provided by the choir or individuals. On the first Sunday of the month we celebrate communion together. It is a wonderful time to reflect on the sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
